Hi. I will be at Phalaborwa Gate on the 30th and will deliver clothing. Also have contacted Lions International - Stilfontein Branch for assistance. Hope to bring their contribution with me. :D

Thank you Honorary Rangers for what you are doing.

From what I have seen, via various contacts, it is the King David's Linksfield. I have also seen that it is 10 a.m. on 1st February (Friday).

Thanks to the Honorary Rangers for organising this site so we could donate some cash and we could do our bit to help. It makes us feel better knowing we have helped a little to the staff who always make our stay so pleasant.... :gflower:

It would be so much easier if San parks had a paypal account for donations
Transferring money is time consuming and incurs a charge of about $35 for me
I would rather give that extra for disaster relief

Judik, have a look at the bottom of this page for the GivenGain portal - you will not be charged to donate via there.

Thanks DB.

The problem I often face in using my credit card on a SA site, is that it is automatically blocked. This is due to the credit card company's fraud alert system. This then requires a call to the company, and then redoing the transaction and hoping it goes through. PayPal circumvents these issues as it is a local transaction for us and doesn't involve the foreign transaction fraud issue.

I will try the GivenGain system a little later to see if I can donate.

Thanks
Janine

GivenGain is a not for profit organisation based in Switzerland so your credit card should be accepted JudiK.

I've used it a few times and never had any problems.

Janine and Judki,
I have found that American Express transactions (to South Africa) NEVER go through without numerous phone calls to the fraud division, but my VISA card seems to always sail through without a glitch. I just used the GivenGain site and it was quick and painless and seems to have gone through.

Please keep trying. :gflower:

I usually have the reverse issue.

Have just used GivenGain without any hassle, so all good.

Thanks
