Thanks for a very entertaining thread AG. Keep up the good work. From now on I will be 'tuned' to this topic. BTW, I see on the map on page one that certain sections next to the river does not form part of the park. Why is that? It seems really odd.

@ anne-marie and hilda, it is a cicada or tree cricket sitting just underneath the piece of wood sticking out, the larger piece, notice the two eyes very broad head which is so nicely camouflage with the darker side of the wood, and wings with the lighter part of the wood. Broad head narrowing towards the abdomen almost like a triangle.

@ Rooies, that area is known as Blouputs, notice the tar road between the sections of the Park, there is a bridge which connect them, and the tar road is going towards the above mentioned name. This area is prime for export grapes. What is not indicated on the map is the rocky or mountain side as the fences are situated on them.
This area Blouputs is like a valley, there is also small villages where the workers stay and houses of the farmers thats why the fences do not reach the river.

Thanks Augrabies Guru! I would never have thought it to be a cricket! Does it make the same noise as a cricket as well? :hmz:
