Hmmm.....A snake's eyes have " vertical" slits , so I will remain with lizard .

Anne-marie ,

My connection here is incredibly slow , and I was still on the previous one :redface: It takes at least two minutes to open a page , and any picture adds another 60 to 90 seconds :doh:

On this one , I would go with either horned adder or puff adder .

Both the Horned Adder and Puffadder can have such different colours and patterns that it can be anyone of the two. But the more I look at it, I'm wondering if it is not a Puffadder (but it can be a Horned Adder too).
