Also in Augrabies.

These were of the same bird. Very far off in the veld. It's a wonder you can even make out details on it at all.

Many thanks Johan and Adrian :thumbs_up: I'd only seen larklike buntings once before, in KTP, so was a bit surprised with discovering these as I work my way thru my photos. I saw (and photographed) lots and lots of them that day! :roll:

Jaffels, I hope you have a SA bird guide and assuming such, have a look at the section on buntings... If not, I'll help out with a more specific ID...

yes I have the sasol. But for me is it very difficult to distingush. Some look so similar.
Could it be the Lark-like Bunting?
