On ou recent visit my car was chased and bitten at by these two young males. It was our first visit and I was wondering if this is normal behaviour by the lions in the park?

Short answer. Yes.

Depends where though. You don't state where this was.

Friends have seen it at Kwang, and I have witnessed it at Rooikop, both are waterholes near Nossob.

Both times juvenile males. Like these are.

This was taken at Monroe Waterhole on the road between Twee Rivieren and Mata Mata

I have another video of them harassing some Hyena's. They seem to be challenging everything in the area.

there was one video, few time ago, where a Lion jumped through a window... it was a real attack and one of the passengers was injured

We had the same experience 2 weeks ago at MONTROSE waterhole with 2 sub-adult males that look very much like your pair - I will go and check my daughter's photos and see if they are the same ones ... I see in your video clip a female looking on - there was a female with the 2 males when they got too personal with a group of 4 cars on that little loop at Montrose. They were trying to bite the tyres and when I drove off the one male came after me and launched himself through the air at the back of the car to try and get the sparewheel ....

And I must say .... KTP is looking SO GREEN ... we were there with the lions in the first real thunderstorm and heavy rains this year and its nice to see how quickly its got green ....

Yip it sounds like the same lions, the female was inquisitive, but those two young males......

In all my visits to the park I have never experienced this nor spoken to others who have, so it seems very unusual and not normal, behaviour, but in the past 6 weeks I've spoken to at least 4 different people who had a similar experience with this group of lions.

Hmmm.... Maybe those young lions are getting in some early practice for that cycle race later this year in October

Wait till they visit campers

My take, for what its worth, is they like things that run (drive) away from them and they are honing their hunting skills. Maybe its just bit of cub playfulness they haven't lost yet; or they are just mad at continually having to eat dust
