Hey, kathy sa!

It's not "photoshopped", and the Lypochrome theory applies more to very dark birds such as starlings, I think! :hmz:

Also, the pics are under different lighting conditions.
This must be a prank! :P

This is definately not a prank. My Son-in-law who is a very serious birder took the photo.

Ok! Then I'm stumped, because the bird's white leg feathers also appear to have a greenish tinge...

Must have eaten something weird, or been tampered with by a tourist.

Was it very tame?

This one saw himself in the reflection of my car's window. It went crazy on the window by pecking and making noise... :?

They seem to enjoy a very mixed diet seen near Satara in KNP 08 July 2014

it appeared to be a road kill but a few of them were squabbling over it trying to steal it from each other.
