"Born to be Wild" is about the birth of an Impala. These are the great moments of nature to welcome new life. I hope you will enjoy this video. 8)

Apologies to the mods ... but have to share that we saw our first impala lambs for the season today on the road next to Croc River, just west of turnoff to Hippo Pools!!!

(Will merge when I have a good connection)

I have left Skukuza on Sunday to visit all the camps in the north. So far I have only saw one baby impala  outside Shingwedzi Camp this afternoon. It is unfortunate  that i could not take a picture, because you know how mothers are with their little ones. She immediately ran for a cover before I could even lift my camera. I have until Friday in the field and hopefully I will see another lamb.

Hiya! We also saw our first impala baby near Skukuza on the 2nd nov and our second today on the S100! Every herd we pass gets scrutinized! On the road again tomorrow - but I will try to post a photo ASAP! Soooooo cute!
