Is there someone who can make something out of this pictures and tell me what falcon this is? It was flying together with a snake eagle and a martial eagle in Mafikeng area May 2012.

My guess would be it's a lanner, what do you think?

Possibly a juvenile Lanner falcon

Ok, after our most recent trip to the Kalahari i need help with two ID's...

This is the second pic, taken near Monro Waterhole. :hmz: Juv. Lanner ?

the second I would say Lanner Falcon.... but too easy if you ask :wink:

could be Taita Falcon with all this rufous :hmz:
a rarity :whistle: :mrgreen: :shock:
