I took the following photos of a Bateleur flying hi in the air at Orpen. It was not easy to take the photos as the light changes the whole time as the Bateleur is flying.

Hi, Could you ID this bird of prey, which I saw outside Punda Maria camp.

As you can see it was eating a young nyala but I didn't actually see the kill.

A few years ago we came across a young bateleur pecking at a very fresh impala carcass. We concluded it was roadkill as there was nothing else around.
