I would say with near certainty that it is a snake. It is just too typical for a snake track. It is exactly the same width all along. why it just stops i dont know; but maybe if a car track went over both ends if the snake twisted leaving only that track that we see.

But definitely a snake track of some sort in my opinion

That would be one heck of a snake if it was, that track was beeeg. Rock python? What else could get that size?

Well, these tracks reminded me of one time when my dads Dollywheel came loose on the road.

It is the dollywheel of a trailer, probably offroad trailer, probably Raco make. If you look at the last few mm on the track you can actually see the left trac skewing. I am positive. 8)

Hmmmmm that does make sense actually oddly enough and we have a off road caravan and I have actually had it happen that the Jockey was not up at the correct height and while it did it do that I could easily see it doing that as it swings around.

Ahhhhh but wait why only there? The road was not dipped or higher there, if it was it would have been elsewhere. We went back and forth about a half km and saw nothing and afterwards we drove forwards and I still saw nothing like this again....if it were a wheel it would have happened again?? Right??

This is our snake track taken on the Red Rocks Loop - sadly we missed seeing the snake which created it!
