At first I thought it was Felix the AWC, but the more I looked the more I saw a lion cub

That would have been nice but a Lion cub all alone....

I'd have to agree with lion cub - though a fairly big cub! With the wider angle, Felix would have been very small... almost hard to distinguish. The poise is very lionish

Does anyone know why there is almost no water in the Satara "trough"? Will it just fill up slowly or have the elephants and buffalo which were there earlier, used it up.

Bush-Lady! I reckon all of it, plus the fact that the waterlevel was
quite low to start with and the zebras can drink huge amounts in one go as well.

I also wondered what had happened to the water. I wondered if something had stolen it like someone stole my computer last week.

They could be flying ants/termites, Mel. When they come out they are all over the place.
