Morning all
@ Pumbaa, both sightings of leopard was on the rocks, and lying down, with this one I could only see the outline of it and its behaviour as it was far off.

We had klipspringers close to the restcamp and scrub hare in Kukurasiep dry river bed.
A herd of eland and gemsbok with giraffes also on their way to Oranjekom waterhole last night. All of them at the waterhole.

On my way back genet at the Black Ridges and a spotted eagle owl.

Very close up sightings of another genet and a african wildcat at the low water bridge close to the restcamp, not far from each other, the african wildcat was the one with the short tail.

Are the striped pole cats a rare sighting, or are they frequently seen?

They are frequently seen on the drives. They are widely distributed.Very small and really depends on where you are seeing them, could be easily overlooked.

Klipspringers and a large herd of eland close to Moonrock. The reason for finding eland and giraffes on a regular basis in this area is because the veld is so dry and this area remains much more green, due to the water source in this section.

A small herd of gemsbok on the other side of the Black Ridges and scrub hare, red rock rabbit and a spotted eagle owl further, more gemsbok at Holombacht water hole and Hartmann zebra's and a african wildcat on my way back.

Red hartebees at Oranjekom waterhole.
