Eventually got 10/10 for Sky #6.

Now to figure out Sky #7. Bonus and one other is getting the best of me but I will get it.
Good luck to all and enjoy searching your books and programs.

Managed 9/11 of Sky #6, issues with #1 and BB, but still happy I was somewhere in the right direction though :D

Guesses for Sky #7 sent, BB and #10

All the best, Michael

Did Sky 7# and guest 9/10 correctly.
Had the family of no 10# correct, but missed the specific bird, as well as the BB  .

Well done Barryels, LaeveldLeeu and Great Dane :gflower:

:( no bonus for me this Christmas

Got 9/10 at first. Bonus and #10 stumped me :wall:

Also had correct family for #10 and BB

Although I eventually got #10 correct. Guess that would make it 10/10 :D

Hi Ducklings

Here is Sky #6

The first birds were all seen at Augrabies

1) This is a lark like bunting and the black on the neck confused almost everyone even some of the mites on
the bird id challenge

This is what Johan van Rensburg had to say
ID points: Two-tone bill of elongated shape – longer and shallower in profile than canary
Facial pattern
Tan/brown breast and belly
The yellow gape is an indication that this is still a young bird

Image

Image

The rest were all id'd correctly

2) Three banded Plover
Image

3) Familiar chat
Image

4) Malachite Kingfisher
Image

5) Pale winged starling
The colour of the eye alone should have given the id away

Image

6) Orange River White eye
Image

The next bird was seen in KTP

7) Kalahari Scrub Robin
Image

The next birds were all taken at Marievale
8)Image

9 ) Common Moorhen
Image

10) African Stonechat
Image

And a bonus bird Taken at Marievale

11) Lesser Swamp Warbler
