very intresting sightnings. It seems like it, that Lions enjoy the pressence of humans. If this is good or bad well its up tp you.

As I alredady statted, I didn´t seen much inside the Camp. but in 2008 the waterhole at Twee rivieren there was a huge Lion drinking. But that waterhole can not be seen by the camp.

Definitely counts Malealea... :)

In all my trips I still have yet to get really lucky at any of the wilderness camps (doesnt matter as they are the most incredible places regardless) but I have heard and read about some incredible stories... Keep them coming... :)

I heard from 2 people sitting with me at the Nossob hide about 2 weeks ago they had two lions roaring RIGHT outside their tent at Gharagab... Must have been incredible :)

Nossob waterhole seems to deliver every year for me and this trip it delivered AGAIN. We were lucky enough on the 13th October at about 05:00 am to wake up to a lion roaring RIGHT in front of the Nossob camp. It was a male and female pair. They proceeded to move on into the riverbed in front of the hide but didn't come and drink. An AMAZING sighting !!! ...

KEEP YOUR STORIES COMING..... no matter how big or small, rare or common, wilderness camp or from a hide! I am very interested... :)

Nighthawk2 and Timbits, I am still shocked about those Lions! But I enjoy your story so much!

This is a very interesting thread, especially since we are going to KTP for the first time in March 2013 and don't really know what to expect!

Imagine going into the ladies loo and finding a lioness there. My goodness me.

It must be that there is water that attracts them.
