Maybe a suggestion, Rooies (after you ask the next Q here  ) - deliberately put the wrong answer in, and then we can skip you. On the other hand, you are such a part of the quizzes, and ask such useful Q's, that I think you must just handle all the stress and entertain us anyway!!

Thanks for participating Rooies, Picnic, Dr Phil, Philip, Heksie. Yes, peanut butter does work very well (although I'm not one to catch poor little innocent mice by habit); in fact, most things of a sugary variety would do the trick. Hence, the statement is a Fact. Cheese-lures might be appropriate for the Yeti, but for mice, it is a cartoon invention!

Over to you, Philip.

Fact or Myth? Give a reason :)
Touching a frog or toad will give you warts.

Myth because carnivores have carnassial teeth why would they want to tear of leaves and bark from trees? :hmz:

Myth, isn't it just an urban legend to keep snotties from catching frogs and putting them in their mouths?

Myth. Warts are viruses that are almost always specific to the animal they infect; even if a frog had warts (and those nodules on some of them are not warts!), you wouldn't be able to catch it by touching.

Quote:
Warts are caused by a human virus, not frogs or toads," says dermatologists. But the wartlike bumps behind a toad's ears can be dangerous. These parotoid glands contain a nasty poison that irritates the mouths of some predators and often the skin of humans. So toads may not cause warts, but they can cause other nasties. It's best not to handle these critters—warts and all!

Own  Hope you are better :)
Go for it

Fact or Myth:

A rabbit's favourite food is root vegetables (including carrots) that contain B-carotene, the precursor to vitamin A?

Fact, but they like lettuce as well, is that contain B-carotine?
