Sunday morning sunrise

We decided to visit the mountainous part of the Park today and first on the agenda was to go up to Lenong View Point. Hopefully before the road up the mountain got too busy!

We reached the tunnel and saw that the gate motor was in pieces - literally! Gate had to be opened and closed manually.

A herd of about 30 elephants! In all our previous visits to the Park we had only one very far off sighting of a couple of Marakele's elephants and now we have found a herd with babies!
