Last week I had well over 1800 posts , and suddenly it seems 300 of them has dissappeared :twisted:

Okie, I know Steven is planning to do another 'clear out' to speed up the forums; but not sure if he did do this before he went on leave on not. We will have to wait to hear from him when he returns.

Look , I am a little on the slow side when it comes to modern technology :whistle:

According to Steve :
1. Resynchronise statistics - Recalculates the total number of posts, topics, users and files.
2. Resynchronise post counts - Only existing posts will be taken into consideration. Pruned posts will not be counted.

Not sure what this means : recalculate - so you get a different answer every time you count :hmz:

: Only existing posts will count - so old posts do not count :hmz:

How old must they be :hmz:

: pruned posts :hmz:

What are pruned posts ? And who " prunes" it ?

It seems if you post , then it may be " pruned " , and not counted .
If it is not pruned , it will be recalculated .
If you do NOT post , it will in any event be either recalculated , or it may be pruned .

Mindboggling :doh:
