Good morniiiing all! :)
Giraffes close to the Restcamp last night, we also did not found much antelopes last night but just follow this report and look at the sightings for a moonlight night.

A night jar close to Kukurasiep dry river bed and a spotted eagle owl a bit further away sitting next to the road and dash off on to the road at something.
A genet in the area of the Black Ridges with a red rock rabbit very close to the vehicle.
At the bottom of the Black Ridges a african wildcat also close to the road and a few springbok lying down close to fonteintjie.
The same african wildcat was seen again on my way back and before I reach Kukurasiep dry river bed a aardwolf close to the road.
Almost forget  lots of scrub hare's as well!

Morning all
Things are only getting better on the drives lately.
In the area of the Black Ridges a gemsbok with 2 scrub hares in the area of Kukurasiep.
On the otherside a quick sigthing of a genet, unfortunately it went down into a steep area. Hartmann zebra's and springbok at Oranjekom waterhole.
Now I don't know what it is with the Black Ridges, but this area really delivers.
Black-back jackal in front of the Ridges and about 60m a Honey badger :D very close to the road the 2nd one for me in almost a year and a first for 2 of my guest which actually saw it for the first time, it was also on their wishlist.
More eland a bit further.

On my way back red rock rabbit, a scorpion as well :) and this has make perfectly sense when we did the stars.
Giraffes close to the restcamp, also on a wishlist for another guest and a really nice sighting of a genet next to the road after which is pass over the road and a spotted eagle owl in a dry river bed.

Unfortunately the drive are closed for the 25th, but I guess it is still an option if there are enought visitors who wants to go out at that time.

Morning all
Night drives are still on the roll here and I hope it continues this way untill a caracal has landed :) .

Last night scrub hare and giraffes close to Kukurasiep dry river bed, a spotted eagle owl and night jar in the same area.
At the Black Ridges a gemsbok a little far off and I told my guesst that I will drove further to look at it from another angle, I misjudge the rocky riff and could not saw it, this was made up for a larger herd in the area of fonteintjie as well as springbok.
We also found two separate family groups of Hartmann zebra's and a very large herd of eland.
Red hartebees and stripe polecat in the same area and red rock rabbit on two occasions.

On my way back a aardwolf was running in the road and eventually dodges on to the side, look at us and run further. Also found another Hartmann zebra at the lower end of the Black Ridges and in the area of Kukurasiep a giraffe was lying down and just behind it a quick sighting of a porcupine running behind it.
