Lourens, those pictures are unbelievable.
We saw roans last week to the north of Babalala. If you want to see leopards go to the Red Rocks and do all the gravel roads there. We've done it twice and found leopards in trees both times!

Shingwedzi has always been productive for us!
We are going this Dec for the 4th Dec in a row!
We always seem to find lions on the H1-7 between Shingwedzi and Babalala picnic spot!
We also saw 2 female lions and 2cubs Dec 2012 eating on a Zebra on the S57 just before Babalala as well as a male and female lion on the Bridge and Shingwedzi on our night drive!
They even roared!
I've got photo's to prove the sightings but do not seem to get in right to post them!
We also saw 4 Cheetah on the H1-8 just passed the Klopperfontein dam turn off on our why to Pafuri.
But over all antelope sightings were great with Roan at the Tropic of Capricorn, rhino with calf at Boyela water hole on H1-7 near Babalala and lots more!

Well.... Not in Shingwedzi camp....

Red Rocks has a couple of them, but personally I have never spotted a leopard there.

We saw one by the causeway at the back of the camp in 2011.

Not the best area for wild dog I'm afraid!
Would be interested if anyone has!

There is a petrol guard called Samual who has worked at Shingwedzi camp for nearly 20 years ...
he said the Mphonogolo River Road is my best option for leopard. Other than that, the S50 Kannidood road is another goody

I've seen leopard on the Red Rocks loop, but much nearer to Shingwedzi than to Bateleur and Tshanga(?) lookout point.

Also, this last June, we saw a beautiful female about 100/200 m outside camp on the Kannidooddam side (the secondary Camp gate) just before gate closing time. She was on her way down to the water...

The Kanniedood road has delivered many leopards for me personally, as has the Mphongolo Road (which happens to be one of my favourite roads in the Park).
Have also seen leopard across the river, from the restaurant at Shingwedzi.
So, they are around just keep your eyes peeled.
Best time, for me personally has been early evening.
