A new quarterly newspaper has just been launched called the SANParks Times.

It is aimed at giving the public a birds eye view of happenings in all the national parks. It includes articles regarding historical events and modern day happenings. It has scientific information, as well as interesting articles on all our parks.

The Spring edition has 44 pages jammed full with information.

It will be distributed in all the national parks, and is worth a good read.

Look forward to our copy when we arrive.

I have read the sanparks times today and I have to say, it was great.
It looks professional and I have enjoyed the articles, facts and the other 'did you know' and 'for your information' stuff.
The amount of photos makes the articles even more interesting.
So keep this going, can't wait for the next sanparks times!

Are planning to place the sanparks times also on the sanparks website? So I can read the times even when I'm back in the Netherlands.

I hope so! But will try to find out. Even if it is to see if it rivals the Wild card magazine, which you can get online.

Thanks for the compliments and the excitement regards the the first edition of the SANParks Times! I'm the editor of the publication so was very glad to see this post on the forum. We're already hard at work on our December edition, so any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

At the moment we're distributing in all 20 parks (including Groenkloof) and a couple of other places, with plans to go online in the next two or three editions. So, let me know if you haven't gotten your hands on a copy and I'll make a plan.

Publishing online would be very useful. We have a very large international crowd on the site (I am for instance Dutch) who would like to be included.
