Fine that Addo is back. :D
Is this bird Cape Crow (Corvus capensis)?

It's a redwinged starling.

Thank you chirinda :D
I have never seen Red-winged Starling in any African webcams.
I am pleased that I found here. :D

Hi Dono,

A warm welcome to posting on the forums!

I can remember two or three lion sightings on the Addo Cam. Quite a low number, yes, but Addo contains very few lions and the cam is only recently installed.

Orpen, on the other hand, has seen many, many lion visits - not to mention the multitude of other great sightings.

Enjoy the cams,

Tom

This looks rather like a dog to me.

The colouring looks right.

Deeds, that does look interesting. Were it Nossob, I would have assumed Brown Hyena. I am curious about what people think. It seems to have rather a shaggy coat and rather low on the ground..
The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

I thought that initially LQ, it just doesn't look like the BBJs usually do. Mind you, the cams can do some funny things to animals!

I'd have to agree with lion cub - though a fairly big cub! With the wider angle, Felix would have been very small... almost hard to distinguish. The poise is very lionish :D
