Yesterday I was out with the technical department to look at the roads. It have been a really long time since I have been on this section so I just want to share some of my sightings as well as some pic's. :)

Giraffes seen at 3 different occasions and a large herd of eland.
Gemsbok and lots of ostriches as well.
Springbok,klipspringers and a young kudu bull which decided to to jump out at the last minute behind a scrub.

Giraffes count up to 14 of them, note the land scape.

AG did you drive the quiver loop?? It's one of me all time favorites!!!!

I took thousands of photos of the quiver trees, last time we did the loop !!!!

That picnic site is one of the best kept secrets in Augrabies!!!

I could not stop taking photos of those big old trees!!! Amazing!!!

Well thank you for the pic, and my experience tell me that it might just sometimes be you and the picnic site, as you also mention it is one of the best kept secrets in Augrabies.

Picnic you should,while I was up there this morning a fish eagle was soaring above me and was giving that famous call, have also seen klipspringers and a troop of baboons.
