I would also like to hear the final outcome of the crashed light aircraft on Voortrekker Road.

Did we ever find out what happened to the ellie who was injured when she charged a walking party?

Of course these incidents may be undergoing enquiries, so maybe I will just have to be patient!!!

I agree with you Val, we should be given an update on the 'hero' story.

It all sounded very dramatic but I suppose that's what sells magazines or newspapers. It also does sound like very irresponsible journalism to me as well as they are clearly only telling half of the story, and for anyone who has even the slightest clue about Kruger it will no doubt raise eyebrows.

I would also like to know what transpired further , and whether Sanparks took action against these ppl

If not , then of course we would like to know why not . They were supposed to travel on a day pass , but overstayed after travelling some obscure " back-road " .
What back-road was it , and if no action was/is being taken by Sanparks , I would also like to travel that road , as I'm sure a lot of others would also like to travel it No cars around for more than 24 hours Somewhere near Tsokwane

Just for interesting sakes, look at your Kruger map. This captain courageous entered at Phabeni and got stranded near Tshokwane. At some stage or the other he had to cross the Sabie and Sanriver via a bridge. From there, the only 'quiet back roads' are the S36 and S34, which can hardly bee considered as quiet back roads. Hopefully SANParks will respond swiftly.

Indeed the couple went into a management road and not a tourist road which is illegal. We are still investigating the appropriate action to be taken against the couple taking into consideration all the circumstances around the matter.

Always read the newspapers with a suspicious mind, and even more so for TV "news'.

Thank you Lesego for the update. As we all suspected, it was not a tourist road. Now go back to the newspaper article "As it is his habit, Honeyball kept to the less-travelled roads" So, our newspaper hero seems to be a regular offender.

For what it's worth, I say BAN these people from the park (especially as they are regulars, they should know better).

Banning would be the answer , but .... how do you keep tabs on banned people to make sure they never come back
