We were up there a week ago and the dam is virtually dry -- just some damp mud left, but the waterhole is still working. Will post a pic if I can find one !

I see that it's now marked in the Honeyguide KNP Map issue produced in November 2007

Grantmissy, also see WTM's posts here :
Klopperfontein was hammered by huge herds of zebra, elephant and buffalo. Not sure how that will look in month's time.
and here :
A visit to Klopperfontein at the moment is a must! Huge amount of animals hanging around it at.

Hi Grantmissy,
Update on Klopperfontein area as requested :D

29 July 2012

It was quite dry and muddy and animals struggled to get out of the mud at times and they all had beautiful black socks on.

Hallo there!

Is there a lot of animals at the dam and have any carnivores been seen there recently?
