The collective noun for Cheetahs is a coalition of Cheetahs.

A coalition :hmz: .....I learn something new every day

3D it was a male cheetah calling for a mate. He walked, ran, a lioness appeared (and a lion but not shown) marked some territory, climbed a dead tree, found a mate (and mated, but not shown on video.) Lovely shots of the cheetah and great to hear the calls.

Thanks for posting eKoppen :thumbs_up:

Tx for the comments....a few more to share... :wink:

We were so lucky to find the Cheetah in the road. He pose for a few images and we thought with us the only car at the sighting we must just wait for the perfect shot

Image

He then left his mark on the Sanparks sign

Image

but then the the Hyenas arrive chase him away and snuff the sight

Image

and looks like if he thinks it is a joke and laugh about it ...but we didn't think it was a joke and missed out ....

Image

{ Sorry to upload Hyena images under the Cheetah forum :( }

Female with 5 cubs on S 21.
We thought five were rather unusual and wondered how many would survive, but the photos above of four adults together at Gudzani gave me hope !
The best thing about this sighting is that we had them all to ourselves for about twenty minutes !
