Hello there

What is the difference between Ebb & Flow Noth and Ebb & Flow South? What is the standard procedure to checking in? Is there a Gepgraphic difference?

We get to Ebb & Flow at 19h00 on Friday. I have called ahead and they have assured me that arriving at that time will not be a problem, however, will I be going to the right place?

I am a bit worried.

Kind regards

Hello Leaping Lizards,

Some info for you here :

The North camp is within two hundred metres of the South Camp rear gate. You can both drive and walk between the two camps.

Having just been there in November I am sure nothing has changed and we pitched up at after 9pm without a booking (I knew there would be space) and were helped out.
There is 24 hour security there and you can arrive when you want and the security guard will give you the keys - and you can pay the next day. I was very impressed at the proffesionalism of the running of this camp.
Enjoy it, keep the phone number at hand but dont worry about getting there late!

You will also enjoy reading Stoffel's Ebb & Flow - A Winter Experience and Mizzbee's Ebb and Flow – a “little” park with so much.

Wishing you a wonderful stay at Ebb and Flow :D , a very special place !

Thanks for the help Matthys. No need to worry then.
Looks like it is going to be a nice wet night.
We are looking forward to our first visit in this park.

We stayed there just overnight in E & Flow South, en route from PE to CTown in 2002.
It was a very pleasant stay.

So we went to Ebb and Flow on Friday 13th July. Yes, the day that Lesego sent out the flood warning. We only intended to stay the night so did not take luxuary or comfort into account and went the cheapest route as we just wanted a place to rest out head. We booked a Rondewal which was located in the northern Camp.

We did not know about the flood warning, as that was posted here at 4pm, by which time we must have been in Mossel Bay.

Due to the Northern Camp being closed due to river level, we were upgraded to a timber cabin on the River in the Southern Camp.

What a little gem this camp is. It helps that the staff are real gems also, so friendly, warm and welcoming.
The wooden Cabins are so well thought out, and the location between 2 rivers on a river bend is just fantastic with great views of the forest covered hills. An easy place to just relax and feel at peace.
We are over the moon that we stopped there and have already decided to return for a few days in Late November.
