Insects and spiders are supplied to their grubs to feed on. The adults live on nectar and can often been seen in large numbers on Euphorbia (Naboom) species which they seem to like.

OWN is it!

Everybody thinks ladybirds are cute. But, which alien ladybird is currently presenting a major hazard to the wine industry in South Africa, as well as decimating some other valuable insect species, and potentially destroying entire sensitive ecosystems?

A lot of wine, and there was no wastage by spitting it out

OK :hmz:

I suppose "How many legs does an insect have?" is not a good question.

A few minutes.

(Well, I suppose you could ask 'number the legs in the order that they move', but I doubt anyone would get that right for a few years.)

OK, What insect was seen as sacred by the Egyptians due to their ability to move massive weight, this insect is also depicted as a flesh eater in movies, :slap: but we see them in our parks daily.

Just the family name,

But for the Mopane worm, there is another well know insect making a living closely related to the Mopane tree. It looks dangerous but is actually only rather irritating. It loves humans and often lives inside the Mopane.

Name the insect.

Is it one of the jumping plant lice that are quite specific to their host plants; in this case, the African mopani psyllid?
