Morning all,

It’s that time of the year again where we would like to know if there are any mites out there who would like to assist with the SANParks - Kids in the Parks initiative.

People who would like to help would be asked to assist in giving talks about nature etc (Very basic), 'helpers' would join the kids on a walk (With an armed field ranger) around the area where they will be accommodated.

The only request from the P&C Department is that the helpers should be able to speak Afrikaans, since all the kids are Afrikaans.

For more detail regarding the Kids in the Parks and helping out, you can contact me via email jan.kriel@sanparks.org.

The dates we are looking for people to assist are:

27 - 31 Augustus 2012
3 - 7 September 2012
10-14 September 2012

We still have a opening for the week 10-14 September 2012, to assist with the Kids in Parks, we need two people and which speaks Afrikaans.

Please let me know as soos as possible.

The children who come to the Kids in Parks program are all from schools in the areas surrounding KTP - communtities such as Rietfontein, Askham, Welkom, Groot and Klein Mier ( please correct me if I'm wrong here KG :tongue: ) etc - and as a result are all Afrikaans speaking - some might speak or understand a little English but all are schooled in Afrikaans and its their home language ...
