Hi 'mites

Just to keep you updated, due to the January floods, many may be asking when will Kruger replace the railings on bridges damaged during this year's floods?

We are in the process of replacing the damaged guard rails. We are procuring the materials currently and will start with the physical work in due time.

what i do not understand that Kruger is filled with water. most dams are filled to the brim but the olifants river
is very shallow?
What is wrong here. The Palaborwa dam not sharing water.
At this rate it will be nearly empty when the real winter starts

Is there any news regarding the fixing of the H1-5 near Olifants?

The detour along the S91/S92 gravel roads is a major accident waiting for a time to happen. We had occasion to drive this route a few times during our recent trip; we were overtaken by cars doing 60-70km/h or more and the dust kicked up by these vehicles makes it difficult to see for several minutes.

The road is very narrow, twisty and there are many blind rises, all it will take is for a few animals to be crossing the road at the wrong time and there will be a major catastrophy.

I would also like to know when Makhadzi will be re-opened?
We will be in the area in just over 30 days.
