The SANParks Honorary Rangers recently donated a Bantam aircraft to Mokala National Park. The Bantam will be used for monitoring and to prevent poaching. This is especially important as Mokala is home to a number of endangered species.
This is the third Bantam which have been donated by the Honorary Rangers to SANParks, and the other two have proven the effectiveness of such light airplanes in conservation work.
The money for the donation was raised by the Johannesburg and West Rand Regions of the Honorary Rangers. Well done all!
