Black-chested Prinia shot in KTP in Marie se draai. We called this guy out with the calls on Sasol e-birds. Some birds don't respond, but this one came out briefly giving us a chance for a few shots.

Here is an image from our March trip to KTP. We were lucky enough to see two Tawney Eagles part of a feeding frenzy of Black Backed Jackals. This was was being chased off by a Jackal.

I shot this image as I was exiting the Addo National Park earlier this year. I believe it is a Brown-hooded Kingfisher. When I first saw it, I stopped at distance and took a few shots. I then crept closer with the car and took a few more. The bird was so relaxed, it allowed me to go forward and backwards to find the best background. It is not always so easy and that the birds actually sit still.

Apologies for the lack of posting. I have 100s of new images but unfortunately not from National Parks. You will have to wait till December after our next KTP trip. In the meantime here is an image of a Gabar Goshawk at the Gemsbok waterhole. It was causing all sorts of problems for all the other birds as it was hungry,
