Goeie genade, 4 pages of nonsense  The answer is, it is a myth. Mice per se do not scare elephants. Mice are part of an elephant's environment, whether it is in the wild or in a zoo. What does scare them is anything that startles them like a sudden movement or noise. So, it may sometimes appear if they are scared of mice.

Fact , the crocodile first caught ranger Tom Yssel then when National Parks Board pilot Hans Kolver went to his assistance attempting to gouge the crocodiles eyes it attacked Kolver , if Louis Olivier did not intervene there may have been a tragedy.
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

A crocodile does not have to lick its prey or lick up water. They simply rip off pieces of flesh from their prey and gulp that in. They don't chew the meat, so there is no point in moving the meat around in their mouths with a tongue.
