If I must choice and don’t have a choice of only one……It will be the H10. Nkumbe lookout, Monlondozi dam, Munsthe Mountain and the Serengeti feeling you get on this road specially certain times of the year when the wildebeest and Zebra is around…. As also seen it all plus the rare stuff on this road….Never mind the Big 5 have seen Sable, serval, wilddog, cheetah, Tsessebe, eland, mountain reedbuck, porcupine, civet and many more on this road…..just love it to bits…….

The H1-3 is a very busy road so you need to drive it very early before the crowds are out. It has some of the best viewing, fantastic scenery and a lovely meal at Tshokwane at the end!

I agree Berki! There are always plenty of raptors on the trees catching morning sun

The dirt road behind Berg-en-dal (not Steilberg), sorry don't have map with me...
We've had two separate sightings of wild dog packs on this road. Once they were even bathing in a puddle on the side of the road next to our car, and we were the only car at the sighting. We've also had beautiful lion and leopard sightings on this road.

This is little complicated but it is a combo of a few dirt roads that make the best drive for me.

Leave CB on the H4-2 and turn onto the H5 , left onto the S108 then onto the s25 down to the S119 past Gardenia hide and onto the S118 , up the H3 have brunch at Afsaal, right onto the S113 down the Biyamiti loop , left onto the S114 , right onto the H5 and back to Croc Bridge.

Always enjoy this drive and have seen the most amazing sightings ever

We were there in March 2012 and I want to go back already.

It depends where in the park you are situated.

The S65 (South West of Skukuza) although short is a great road (had Cheetah, Leopard and Wild Dog sightings)
The S100 - but this road is too busy most of the time.
An unlikely candidate is the road heading North from Letaba to Makhadzi road (don't have my map with me) turnoff and back. At the Makahadzi dirt road turnoff (there is a low level bridge/crossing past the waterhole) we saw Leopard right next to car(walking through the drainpipes underneath car), not even 10 meters past this we stopped for 2 male cheetahs on the other side of the road marking their territory. On the way back to Letaba we saw Nyala (male), Tsessebe and a Lioness. (what a last day in the Kruger it was!) This is not even counting the Elephant, buffalo and plains game we saw

The H7 rocks for me. Three years ago we arrived at Orpen about noon and before reaching Satara we had seen the Big 5 including cheetah, hyena and doggies. Remember we still hadn`t unhitched the caravan.

This is a difficult one for me but if I have to chose one road then it would be the R52-Red Rocks Loop.
The northern section. We have always seen game on this road. A leopard hunting besides lions and wonderful tuskers.

It is alive with birdlife in beautiful and peaceful suroundings.

The scenery is also stunning

It would be a toss-up between the H10 and the Gomondwane loop.

For me it will be the H7, S100, Napi loop, the road through the Fevertree forest, and any of the river-roads around Shingwedzi, Letaba and CB and Olifants camp. O yes, and the road that pass by Redrocks to Tshanga lookout, awa the Mahoni and Biyamiti loops. And the S28! But I think my favourite just for the sake of scenery is the H10. O hell there is so many roads...

How different peoples choices can be.for me the best of three are S114 from Skukuza towards Biyamiti Weir.S90 Satara to Olifants, S33 Vutomi Loop to Nhlanguleni.hope i havent given away my secrets.

Red rocks loop, has a good variety of waterholes, river views, river crossings, animal and bird life.
Also has a spot to get out at, because you will need that if you spend a year on 1 road
