The dog I am now talking about is not exactly ours but she belongs to very close relatives (I hope this counts as well )
During the few moments of sunshine yesterday I was on an Easter stroll with our relatives and their dog.
Her name is Goldi.
She is just gorgeous.A very friendly little doggi.
She was born November last year and moved in around Christmas.
Goldi is a Jack-Russell-Mix with unbelievable power.
On this pic (which was quite hard to take as she was running around at high speed all the time) you can see her (the brown little sweety in the foreground)with a new acquaintance in the park.

He just cam out of the water and gave her a little shower.

We have two greyhounds. They are retired racing dogs and can still run very fast when we allow them off the lead which isn't very often because they don't come back when we call them. Hilda is 10 years old and Whiz the white one is now 5 years old. They are very good in the house, make lovely pets and keep the cats out of the garden! (sorry cat lovers!)

Image
They love going to the coast and walking in the sea!

Wow 3 staffies :!: What does your garden look like :?:
This is my third staffie (all females). Are they not just the best with kids :?: I am hopping that she will have her first litter in the new year, but only one litter :!:
Do your staffies swim :?: Bella loves the beach and has no fear of the waves. often will come with me even when she cant stand anymore.

Sorry Skydiver only read this now

When I got my two females as puppies they dug my garden up and also took the springkler system out  Then I decided one day to cut up an old duvet and put it in their box...well got back from my painting lessons and it looked like it snowed in my garden  they ripped the duvet in pieces and played with he "snow" in the garden! Well they are all grown up now and acasionally they will dig in the garden. The son of one of my females did not dig in the garden but shewed at all the springkler pipes in the garden  Had to replace it a couple of times :D Now if I lock them in the back garden (because we sometimes have visitors with small kids and I do not want to take a chance off them biting one of the kids ) he will then bite the hose connection to the tap off out of spite because he cannot get into the house
No we do not take them to the beach...tried that when they were small and had endless problems with them fighting each other. We cannot understand why they want to bite each other the minute we get to the beach! THey do not fight at home!

@CR: You asked what happened to my dog's leg.. She was stabbed in the chest by someone trying to break into our house at night. The person fled after stabbing my dog as she carried on barking at him. We took her to the vet and got told we were lucky as the knife wound missed all her vital organs. Her chest recovered quickly and the wound isn't visible anymore. The wound you can see on her leg is where the drip went in when the vet looked at her chest wound. She won't stop licking her skin and that's the cause of the sore.
