On Saturday there was a Cheetah kill about 50m from the waterhole which was a recipe for some very good cam pics... here they are.

the cam pix you post are SO intriguing, Jannie Did the hyena find the springbok remains IN the water?!? It must be quite some marathon to go thru all the pix, really appreciate your efforts!

Hi Arks,

The hyena must have taken the scraps away from the Cheetah and due to all the jackal around it took it to the water where it has left it for a while before returning, i would guess it was to hide the scent and to make sure that the other predators around doesn’t get to it.

It has taken a while to decide which to post as there is just so much.
