The book National Parks & Nature Reserves: A South African field guide has been released. Has anyone perhaps reviewed this book? "It offers a comprehensive overview of 43 of the country's best and most accessible parks, reserves and wildernis areas" - quoted from an overview.

I managed to get to a bookstore and get my hands on this book. It immediately appealed to me especially the summary info on the 43 parks & reserves. If one likes to visit different parks & reserves then this book will certainly be useful. The layout, graphics, photo's, information windows make for pleasant reading and reference. It also makes you aware of other reserves that you are not aware of and could kindle the interest to explore or include during trips as stay-overs. I guess it is an excellent book which could assist you to curb the Kruger blues and assist with short visits whilst counting the days to the next Kruger trip.
With next Kruger visit only mid Dec'12, I am inspired to considere a visit or two to reserve/park close to home.

Anyone else read or own this book?
Is it worth purchasing if I already have information on SANParks?
