More like 90 mins at our normal pace. LIT? We should be so lucky!

We usually stop on the high level bridge late in the afternoon when we are at Balule (for a sundowner until they changed the rules). We give ourselves about 20-30 mins to drive back to camp but I guess we'll have to leave earlier and forego the sunset pictures :(

That is very, very difficult to answer Brogen, but so far, no flooding.

Into Kruger tomorrow - Yay  , we are going from Paul Kruger to Orpen and just need to know if the low level bridge from Skukuza past the airport, towards to Satara is open or if we have to take the high level bridge?

The caseway over the Sabie is open but the one over the Sand river is closed as same is damaged so you need to take the high level bridge which is a not that bad detour either

Enjoy your stay, Safari Gal

Thanks Pumbaa - we will therefore take the high level bridge route and then on to (passed) Tshokwane, Satara and then to Orpen.

Hi there

Can someone please explain what “Talamati (temporarily opened)” means?

Perhaps it’s early to worry, but does this mean that it will closed in the near future, effecting later bookings?

Thanks and best wishes

Dear All,

Talamati is open and in business and not only "temporarily open".

KInd regards.

Very good news. Thanks you Joep.

And are the planned upgrades to Talamati accommodation still going ahead according to plans, or have they been put on the backburner for now?
