I know it might sound :hmz: but every time we drive to/from or at the Girvana waterhole we have seen Cheetah. Perhaps it is just our luck or something but we almost “know” that we will see Cheetah in the vicinity of Girvana. Of course we do not mind :D . Did anyone else have had such a same place, similar type of sighting experience before?

We always seem to find lions at Girivana. We have seen a lioness hunting there at the waterhole. Males walking in the vicinity. Lioness with a kill and a hyena trying to steal it. A whole family also there one trip, with cubs in all ages.

Never saw a cheetah or leopard there but.....

Sharifa the Girivana waterhole has always been good to us as well :D. I hope next time you will see leopard or cheetah . Another spot where we always see wildlife, although different animals each time is the Matjula waterhole, Berg-en-Dal.
