Hi Meleah and Welcome!
Sorry to disappoint you but we international visitors have ONLY the option of buying the international visitors card. The reason being, as I understand it, that as we do not pay RSA taxes, we pay a higher conservation fee and are also not given the option of any of the any of the cards that are limited to smaller groupings of parks. I expect that this may be because there are far fewer international visitors than locals, so no need to provide a wider variety of options to a small segment of cardholders.
Hi All,
Need advise on SANPARKS conservation fee as I am very confused.
I am not a South African national but living here for 5 years now with valid work permit and paying taxes.
Have been to Kruger park 4 times now but the conservation fees were charged different couple of times.
We had a day trip starting from Numbi Gate where we paid fees applicable to SA nationals as we were carrying our work permit and tax documents.
Last year booked at Skukuza but had to pay international visitor fee.
Can someone shed some light on the conservation fee applicable in our case?
It's rediculous to have SA Salary and Tax and pay international conservation fee.
I am a nature lover and mad about Kruger but never stayed in the park for more than 3 days because of the conservation fee
Saving for a trip this year.
