I assume this has nothing to do with Rooi Kappie and her Granma...............what big teeth you've got!!!! :big_eyes:

I thought it had something to do with dominance...............but got this from a web page

Zebras have their own “smile”—a bared-teeth grimace that is a greeting and helps prevent aggression.


Who's aggression is prevented I don't know!!!!

The head nodding I thought had something to do with parasites in their nose.............but don't know if that could have anything to do with their baring their teeth!!!

I'm not too sure on this one, researching this I have found Ten whale species found in South African waters:

Blue whale, Humpback, Southern right, Sperm, Bryde's, Killer (Orca), Minke, Pygmy, Sei, Fin.
