I have posed this question in e-mails and pm's to numerous parties including sanparksmoderator without any answer.
My question is - If you subscribe to something for example a magazine and you don't get it after you have been promised twice that you will be receiving it within the next three weeks, are you not entitled to lay a charge of theft / fraud after you have not received it after more than almost four months have transpired? :rtm:

Feel for you Luislang, took ages to receive my card and have just renewed and then went through another whole process trying to get the renewal put onto my new card as I got a new number with the renewal. In terms of your question, not sure how much standing you have for the legalities as they are supplying you the service even though you physically do not posses a card, you still get the benefits, the card is not the benefit but the savings on conservation fees. If they deny you the benefits different story.

RobertT thanks for your answer but my question also includes my subscription to the wild magazine which forms part of the wild card. Ever since the inception of the old wild card I have not received it and had to be happy with the occasional one when I visit KNP, Addo, or other parks.

If you are not receiving your wild magazine then your details may be incorrect. Have you tried checking them online going through the wildcard link on home page?

I found my postal details had vanished, had to fill them in again then went in regular to check they remained the same until I received the card.

Luislang,

Please PM me your details and I will forward them onto the Wild Card team and ask them to look into this for you.

It is not fraud or theft. You enter into an agreement with SANParks in terms of which both parties have to perform in accordance with the agreement. If you have done your bit by paying and SANParks is not performing, then you are entitled to cancel the agreement and claim your money back.

If you lay a charge of theft or fraud, then you must prove that they had the intent to steal or defraud you, and how are you going to prove that?
