Evening to you all,
Witnessed a Tree Squirrel play around with a very big monitor lizard at Letaba. It all went on on for close to an hour with the monitor lizard following the squirrel all over the tree and when it seemed it had it cornered the little chap leaped over its head and that was it.

I was sitting cleanign my boots off after a mucky walk and this little chap came and sat next to me and watched for a good few minutes - did'nt even move when I picked up the camera and took the pic!

Has anyone else witnessed similar behaviour to this before? These two were running up and down the tree and then stretching as far as they could following which they would stick out their tongues :hmz:

Wow,interesting behaviour! Great captures, have never witnessed this.IMHO 900 000 of the 1000 000 squirells in the world is in Shingwedzi camp.Boy they're everywhere, actually became a pest due to people's stupidity! PLEASE DON'T FEED ANY ANIMAL IN KRUGER, RESTCAMPS INCL, I KNOW IT'S TEMPTING BUT THINK TWICE!
