These are the pictures taken from my phone, they are not the best quality but at least you can see what is going on and where the clothes went to which we received from the mites.

The picture below is where clothes were given to n Mr./Mrs Malgas. Mr. Malgas was the first true bushman who worked for the Le Riche's. He is blind but the stories he can tell is amazing.

The last picture in the previous post is most properly the one that would stay in my mind forever. Mrs Malgas was so happy about the clothes as they don’t work and have no income the pieces of clothing was as if she won the lottery, the words of thanks and blessings which came from her was out of this world.

Well done all of you creating memories and making a change where it is needed.

Hey 'mites - me again

Just another request PLEASE : they would really appreciate some blankets to give to especially the elderly as they get so cold sitting all day - so something warm to throw over their knees would be wonderful ...

Thanks so much again guys - you really are making a difference

Thanks BB - that will be awesome - hope everyone who is planning a trip up will follow your example and start collecting now !

Good mornig 'mites from a VERY cold Hout Bay

I have been in touch with Jannie and he has some very sad news he asked me to share with you guys - on the previous page there is a photo which he took of an elderly man sitting outside his house who they gave some clothes to - there was an awful accident a few days ago in which the man's house caught fire and he was tragically killed. The man's family has no income and they are now in a desperate situation - could I please ask if we could get this family some much needed clothing as well as blankets and bedding - they lost everything in the fire. They need all kinds of clothes - men and womens and for children - as well as any bedding we can get for them.

PLEASE could we see what we can do for them - I know they would be extremely grateful for any help. The local community church is collecting money for them but as you know, the community as a whole is in need of our help and is not an affluent one at all...

I also have 2 boxes of things that are looking for a lift up to KTP soon so if any Capetonians are going up soon and are willing to take some things up, please let me know. I have 40 odd pairs of gloves and beanies as well as 20 something scarves I have knitted as well as clothes from Wanderw that I'm sure would be useful as I'm sure its still really cold up there ....

Thank you so much for this guys - I have spoken to Jannie on numerous occasions recently and he is completely blown away by the generousity of you 'mites who come up laden with clothes and blankets for the community

:hands: you ROCK !!
