Morning Jannie

Was just wondering if either Jonkers or Madach had managed to find you yet to deliver those 2 boxes of warm things - sounds like the weather up there is pretty bad and I'm sure they'll be useful

Cheers
Gill

Hi there Scouter,

Thanks a million I have received from Jonker and will tonight get from Madach, the weather here is but very cold and we have had a quick look at the goodies and it is perfect it will help plenty of Kids getting through the cold. With our HR we said that we would go into Welkom on Monday and hand out the goodies.

I will take plenty of pictures and then post them for all to see.

Jannie

Hi Scouter/KG

We are off to KTP in a couple of weeks (12 Aug) and have some space for some clothes should anyone from JHB have a collection waiting for delivery?

PM me and arrangements can be made for collection/meeting point!

Jo,

Thanks a million, I do hope there will be more mites involved to make the people's winter (What’s left of it) a bit warmer.

Thanks to everybody so far who have contributed. Management appreciates the contributions

Thanks SO much Jo - you are a star :) Hopefully some folks will get hold of you for a collection !! P#P Stores blankets are about R35 each and are REALLY warm and durable too if the clothing is in short supply

Thanks again to Caracal and Dreamer who have sent up some lovely things in the boxes Jonkers and Madach have so kindly delivered for me

Enjoy your trip Jo  - hope you have an AMAZING time :)

Hi,

What about camping gear? My wife and I are probably going to be buying our gear instead of renting while in the park. Could we donate the gear after our use? It will hardly be used. Don't think it will come along with us back to Canada.

Hi Sheldonand Airi - welcome to the Forum :D

I know Jannie (KG) will be absolutely thrilled to get whatever camping things you don't want to take home with you - thank you SO much for the offer  I'm sure he will make a plan to get in touch with you guys before you leave and pick them up ...

Have a really STUNNING trip and enjoy - you won't regret your decision to add KTP to your trip  but be prepared to want to come back again and again

@Sheldonand Airi,

Thanks a million for the offer and it would indeed come in very handy and the camping gear will definitely be put to very good use. You are welcome to look me up when you are in the park it would be great to meet up with you guys.

I have received another two huge boxes of old clothes for the community and I would like to thank all of you for the generous donations to make winter more bearable for the not so privileged.

Thanks mites you ALL ROCK!!

Jannie

We will be in KTP in a few weeks but unfortunately our bags are absolutely at their maximum weight. I will see if I can manage to stuff in a few extras...but, since we will be in TR our last night I am sure we can leave behind some of our warm things... We will look for you!
