Tobieo - thank you so very much - having a co-ordinator in the Pretoria area will be wonderful - I'm really grateful for your willingness to help out so much - and Nov will be fine - there are a lot of winters still to come and any clothing will be appreciated, not only winter woolies

We feel very privileged to be able to visit Kgalagadi and the surrounding areas. The very least we can do is try to give something back.

Bags packed, everything arranged, fingers tapping impatiently for our departure on July 19, then KTP on July 28. I'm beginning to think 6 days there will not be nearly enough!!

All CAPE TOWN 'mites - Jonkers has kindly agreed to take some things up with him when he goes next week - if anyone has anything small they would like to send up immeadiately please let me know and I will come and get it - but I do need it by Sunday morning as it needs to be in Stellenbosch on Monday and my daughter will take it with her when she goes back to Stellies on Sunday - many thanks

Will be sending up a small box with Jonkers of mainly beanies, gloves, scarves and thick socks from our friendly turquoise and yellow store - also 3 balaclavas - please let me know if they are a hit or not worth buying more of

Will do so and we will take pictures and post them for all to see what difference you guys are making.

i'll be in KTP in 10 days and will find some space in my bag when I leave Europe to bring some clothes.Once in Upington,I will have more space in the car and could add some more from the local chain store.

Goronta - THANK you so much - I am always just blown away by our 'mites who are so willing to stuff their overseas baggage with goodies for this project and I'm sure the P#P Stores in Upington is going to see a big increase in their sales too - thank you - you are a star

Have a stunning time in KTP - hope you see those Twe Rivieren leopard cubs as well as wonderful other sightings and ENJOY !

Just spent 15 min with TWO porcupines outside by the washline - they have taken refuge under the cabin - thought Storm was going to look like one of those KTP lions with quills everywhere

EXCITING STUFF

Wildlife in the garden, now that is nice to know....

KG - yip and squirrels and guineafowl and Hadedas and Egyptian geese and Verraux eagle owls ( occasionally) and wood owls and an African goshawk and the occasional boomslang and a resident olive house snake near the stable and tons of different birds, not to mention the domesticated menagerie

The porcupines were really exciting tho - has taken 14 years for me to actually see them - have often seen evidence that they are here with the occasional quill and all our Arum lillies uprooted and the bulbs munched but to see them was a huge thrill
