Whenever I visit the Kruger National Park, I see a lot of these birds. I wonder, is it because of their bright colors that one can easily see them, or are there a large number of them. :hmz:

I believe it is the same one that flies from branch to branch and wait for me to take yet another picture of him. 8)

Just for those who don't read trip reports - don't ignore the Kgalagadi trans park when it comes to rollers. There are plenty of open space making for some great photo opportunities.

Here are the Rollers of Bedinkt (watehole) in action during our visit in May/June 2011
