I am very very angry!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:

I updated my wildcard details six months ago, and I am still waiting for the new card - FOR SIX MONTHS NOW.

This morning I tried to renew my card via the website, but it still shows my old, previous details. No matter how I tried, it just doesn't accept any updates. Where did it send the authorization code for renewal to?

I then tried to call the Wildcard Call Centre on number 086 146 9453 but the phone just rang. And again. It just rang and cut off after 5 minutes. And again. It just rang and cut off after 5 minutes.

Guess what??

After my previous post today at 1:38, I tried agian to call the Call Centre AND SOMEBODY ACTUALLY ANSWERED AFTER ONLY 4 MINUTES OF RINGING!!!!

Only to be told that I can only renew my Wildcard after my current OLD card expires on 28 August 2011, after which the new card will be issued.

Will it reach me before my planned/booked visit starting 5 September?????????

also phoned today .... three times!! ... and the call was not answered. Rang forever, and then went to an engaged signal.
A friend has phoned TWICE to get her confirmation letter emailed to her :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: :whistle:

Dupacc - You just need your confirmation letter to get into the park ... don't need the card, but hopefully you will get your letter by your next visit. Doubt whether you'll get your card (I've been waiting 7 months for mine).

Have yet to hear of anybody who has received their card. :roll: Typical of the times we are in, pay more for less. :wall: :whistle: :lol:

A week ago i was told i would be receiving my card by the end of the month... Today is the 31st and still nothing but i'll wait and see if anything comes in the next week

An update - as per page 1 of this topic, I updated my details by phone in November 2010 and was promised a confirmation letter. Nothing arrived. Early January 2011 Joep Stevens was kind enough to help and sent me the confirmation letter which I used several times in KNP with no problems.

No card has arrived and the expiry date of the old (Infinity) one has come and gone.

Today I had to go to Reservation House in Johannesburg do sort out some bookings and whilst there I managed to renew my card - have now got a new confirmation letter and will wait with anticipation for the new card to arrive in the post (if it is not thought to be a credit card and is stolen - like most of my post). At least with the new letter I am "legal" for the next year!
