Well currently staying in a rondavel at the Glen Reenen Rest Camp

Really cold here, car puts it at 9 degrees but enjoying every minute

Did a trip to Clarens today - interesting little town

Thought I would share a panoramic I took from just outside our rondavel

Cheers

open to correction :)

was always under the impression that Golden Gate referred to the sun between the gap in the mountains overlooking the camp. Lovely area but for me a little noisy.

mbeylis,

Great photos and everthing is still lovely green with lots of water. I am not sure if the Brandwag is the Golden Gate due to its lovely yellow-orange colours. Its on your right when you looking into the direction of the campsites from the chalets.

There was frost on the grass this morning in Secunda and 4 deg C at 7:30 am. It seems it is not that cold in Golden Gate then.

Let me know when it snows and I will join you on Saturday.

Looking forward to your other pic. Hope you will spot a Lammergeier.

The trek to the cottage, and the cave behind it is great, I can recommend it. Just in case you are bored. ;)
