Hi all :D

When I was in the Krugerpark in January 2008, I saw this relatively 'new' book : Prime Origins Guide to Exploring Kruger.

Its written by Brett-Hilton Barber and Professor Lee R Berger, and comprises of 334 pages of unbelievable detailed information about The Kruger National Park. I personally think this is the best book you can buy about kruger, especially for camp and specific road / routes information

It has many special thems in it, like the 'little five, rare five, big 6 birds....info on specific ecozones and temperatures, geology, seasons. It covers most animals seen in the park quite detailed,....has a tree section, info about all the concessions and other small camps, and nice intresting stories.

All by all (in m opinion) the best book availible about Kruger!

Hi Pimbaa !

Have a look here it really looks great you can even have a preview of some sample pages.
We own a smaller and older edition and already that is great.
The new edition costs R235.And I think it's worth it.
Now this edition is on our ''book list'' for May.

I have been looking for this book every where, even the publishers were sold out, I never saw it in any of the camp shops I was at during december, but on my way out of the park after the cricket we stopped for breakfast Afsaal, I spotted the book at the humble little shop at afsaal.

If any one is interested they had quite a few copies left.
