Soon there will be more with the proposed 'park-'n-ride' system, Micetta.

I am thoroughly enjoying this thread, STF. Please keep it coming.

Hugh, do you have a copy of that photo? Would be great if you could post it here?

Thanks to all for your kind comments. I am so pleased you are enjoying the postcards. Here are my last two.

This one was published by S.A.R. Publicity and Travel Department, no photographers name is mentioned and is titled "Kruger National Park".

This one was distributed by Earldons (Pty) Ltd with a name J Ryan, who I assume is the photographer and is titled " View over the Sabie River, Transvaal, South Africa."

Come on mites, lets see your old postcards. There must be hundreds on boxes, cupboards etc etc..

Elzet I unfortunately dont have that photo.. I did but where ... it was a very very long time ago. (50years)
STF are these seperate post cards or were they not possibly from a calender . The railways brought out a calender every year and afterwards you tore the post card off along the serated edge.
OH more please SFT

Hugh - most of them were from that tear off calendar you mention as they have a perforation line on one edge.

I am afraid that I do not have anymore Kruger postcards but I do have a lot more of S.A.R. buses in other parts of the country. These cannot be placed here as it is not SANParks related.

I am so pleased that everyone enjoyed this thread.

Super Joep. Especially like the one with the lions and the old car behind them. Note the roof rack for carrying luggage - no trailers or SUV's in those days. Please post some more.

Thanks Steamtrainfan & Micetta. I will post some more tomorrow. I have also copied your lovely SAR postcards and added to my digital collection.

Kind regards.
